Food is great. I love their tacos and atol de elote. The best in East Boston. They were located at Meridian but they moved to Chelsea street close by Santarpios.

Time to brush up on your Spanish, because this is as authentic as it gets. Despite my limited Spanish, I was still able to communicate with staff with minimal difficulty. Still full from the Carne Asada, which was grilled and seasoned nicely. It seemed like most people came here for the Pupusas, which gives me a reason to come back. Small service fee if paying by credit card.

Be prepared to speak Spanish, as this is as authentic as it gets! Fantastic pupusas and their horchata is great. Carne asadas was huge and filling and juicy, my mom got the shrimp taco bowl which also was delicious. Portions are insanely generous and the food tasted like something your mom would make. Will be back!!

Friendly atmosphere, good food, but difficulty speaking when only spanish is spoken, you can still point at what you want so i reccomend it.

Came for the papusas! Did not disappoint. We got bean and cheese, mixed with pork and just cheese. We also got a plate of plantains to share. My friend got a lengua torta which she loved! Would recommend for some solid el Salvadoran food!

Happened to be in East Boston and saw a sign for $1 pupusas which I couldn't pass up and you should not either!! Walked right in ordered two with cheese and two mixed(chicken/cheese mixed filling) and my goodness I have never been happier! Ready in 10 minutes, everyone was following COVID protocol and wearing masks and happily sent me on my way. My biggest regret is not ordering other tidbits to go to try. Support them!! Your stomach will thank you

Want comfort food? Topacio serves up some no-frills, hot, seasoned, home style deliciousness. Stopped in before doing an airport run: great choice/recommendation from a friend. Had the pollo a la parrilla, which was a perfectly seasoned piece of chicken with three grilled shrimp on top, beans, and rice. I had a pupusa with cheese too: heaven. I did not need the pupusa, or the complementary chips and salsa, and I am more than full, but it was so good. It was a slow time of day but everyone was very pleasant. Street parking was surprisingly easy to find at 5:00. Bonus: they have takeout, so I might have grabbed some pupusas to go. They are only $1 on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays! I'll be back next time I'm in Eastie for sure.

Pupusas here are quite good, and combined with the cheap price and friendly service, make for a great quick breakfast. The curtido is tangy, and that can make all the difference in creating the right flavor.

Cute little restaurant hidden inside Eastie. A lot of Central/South American cuisines here and they're super filling!! Ordered the Carne Asada plate and my buddy ordered the Mexican chicken. My plate hit the spot and my friend's Mexican Chicken wasn't bad. Tortillas they had were interesting and definitely would want to come back and try other items. Server and other employees were pretty nice to chat and get to know you along with things going on in the neighborhood.
